Waterproof winter boots, from Decathlon SGThey need to be waterproof, with a grippy sole for snow and ice. They matter as much as the jacket. Normal sneakers get soaked and slip, and SAF boots aren't waterproof.
He's tall: fitting rules
- Try the parka and fleece with his arms stretched forward. The sleeves must still cover his wrists.
- Try the parka over the fleece, the way he'll wear it.
- Too short? Go one size up, or check Uniqlo SG online for XXL/3XL.
Skip, it's overkill
- HEATTECH Ultra Warm. Extra Warm plus the fleece is enough.
- Extra pants. His own jeans with the tights under are fine.
- More than 2 tops. Hotels have laundry.
